HOW TO BOOK WITH US

Initial Reservations can be made either by emailing us at enquires@mayaforest.com, completing the online enquirery form  or contacting our UK or Belize offices.  In the first instance please tell us who you are, what your interest is and when you would like to visit Las Cuevas.  We will then be able to give you an initial response on availability of rooms and what we can do to help make you research plans succeed. We will then send you the appropriate Booking Form and Conditions or if you prefer you can download them below and send to enquiries@mayaforest.com in an email.  You will also need to obtain permission from the Government of Belize to conduct your research at Las Cuevas. We will send you the appropriate forms for completion, or if you prefer you can download them below and send to enquiries@mayaforest.com in an email and we will do the rest.

Submission of forms in electronic format is not obligatory, but such submission will speed review of the proposal.  Each proposal is considered on its own merit, taking into account the scientific quality of the project and its appropriateness to the mission of Las Cuevas

Before confirming your booking please read carefully the Las Cuevas Booking Conditions for Research Visitors and check availibility on the  Booking Sheets Your initial reservation will be held for 14 days pending the arrival of a completed booking form and deposit (10% of total cost). If  travel is within 21 days, the full cost of your stay must be paid at the time of booking. 

On receipt of your completed booking form and payment, we will send you a confirmation invoice with any final payment details and any further instructions.  No further reminder is sent out.

Payment Methods

• In the UK please make £ sterling cheques payable to MAYA FOREST ENTERPRISES Ltd and send to Maya Forest Enterprises Ltd, The Brake, Colaton Raleigh, Devon EX10 0JZ.

•  In the US or Canada please make US $ checks payable to MAYA FOREST ENTERPRISES Ltd and send to Maya Forest Enterprises Ltd, P.O.Box 410, Belmopan, Belize, C. America.

• Travellers Checks, Belize Bank Checks, Cash and all Major credit cards are also accepted at our Belize Office.

• For short visits less than 2 nights Full Payment can be made in Cash  (US/BZE $ only) at Las Cuevas prior to departure.
